Synopsis
Stream Environment is one of the companies worldwide that provides Design, Engineering, Supply and Installation of Automated Waste Collection Systems (AWCS) which will provide a cleaner, greener and cost-efficient waste management system in new residential, commercial, industrial and mixed developments.
The AWCS is designed to transport waste from the Load Stations located at various locations in the building to the Refuse Chamber via vacuum technology. With this system, trash handling within the building area would be more efficient than the conventional method.
- Optimizing the economic value of development by saving valuable space;
- Increase design and architectural freedom with a systematic waste handling blueprint;
- Discovering the key aspects of invisible (concealed), practical (automated) & hygienic (sealed) in AWCS system;
- Enhances the garbage collection process, and creating value to improve urban living and working environment;
- Energy-saving as lower cost spent on operation and maintenance.
The AWCS has been applied in:-
- High Rise Residential (Service Apartment/Condominium)
- Commercial/Mixed Development (Retail Mall, Office, Hotel, Transport Terminal, Convention Centre, etc.)
- Industrial (Catering, Food Industry, etc.)
- Others (Medical Facility, University, Smart City, etc.)
STREAM system can be utilized as a centralized hub for the collection of waste from various building blocks in a development site with lesser energy consumption and with lesser manhandling on the waste generated. It is an innovative technology system for waste management which is also recommended by 'Green Building Tools' in many countries. Today, Singapore has mandatory AWCS in new residential developments.
