Synopsis

Health and Safety  is a very crucial aspect in the Oil and Gas industry. As the phrase goes, there is no work that urgent that it cannot be done safely speaks for itself. As the industry has progressed and developed, the HSE requirements as well has become more stringent. With the proper training and equipment, we can keep ourselves safe while working in this industry as long we have the awareness and implement this mindset. Hence it is very important for us to learn the safety culture and understand its importance. A key factor of a successful project in the industry is to ensure it was executed safely.

About the Speaker

Suraj Singh Shergill is currently an engineer with Schlumberger with 11 years of working experience in the industry. He graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from University Tenaga Nasional in 2011. He joined Schlumberger as a junior engineer under the Wireline department in 2012 and have done various positions in the company since then.

With over 7 years working experience offshore, he has a good hands-on technical knowledge before moving to an office-based role. He currently is doing a technical engineer role under the Reservoir performance segment and based in Kuala Lumpur. Throughout his working career, he has been involved very actively in the Health and Safety planning and understanding the importance of it.

• Closing Date: Registration should reach us latest by 19 Feb 2023 or when registration is full, whichever is earlier.
• Last minute registration will NOT be accepted.
• Registered member participant shall attend the event himself/herself personally. In the event a representative has been sent to attend, the representative must be a member of the same grade, otherwise the difference in registration fee must be paid before admission is allowed.
• Attendance by representative will not be issued with the Certificate of Attendance.
• Participants are to login with FULL NAME for our verification of Attendance.
• Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• If fail to attend the event, the fee paid will not be refunded.
• If the participant does not show up for it, or sign in and out, the participant will not be eligible for any CPD points. The requirement for eligibility is that the participant must participate in the entire event, should not be more than 15 minutes late, and should not leave early.
• Certificate of Attendance will not be issued to Walk-In Participants.
