Synopsis

MDC Precast Industries Sdn Bhd or API Precast Industries Sdn Bhd, was incorporated in year 1999 and started its business activities in manufacturing of precast reinforced concrete products since early of 2000.

Since the company began its operation, MDC Precast Industries Sdn Bhd has achieved remarkable gains through aggressive marketing and high productivity of its precast concrete products such as box culvert, reinforced concrete Pipe, L-shaped retaining wall, reinforced concrete square pile, pretensioned / prestressed Beam, parapet wall, arch culvert and other special design precast concrete products.

MDC Precast Industries Sdn Bhd is operating a 40 acres factory located at Jitra, Kedah since year 2020 and is controlled by a local management team that consists of professionals and experienced personnel to ensure the high quality and consistent of manufactured products.

In November 2022, MDC Precast Industries Sdn Bhd expanded the business with setting up a new Sales & Marketing Office in Butterworth, Penang to cover the market in South Kedah, Penang and North Perak. In July 2003, a new factory in Sungai Petani, Kedah started operation with a well-planned structure.

In 2007, MDC has successfully commissioned the Semi Automated manufacturing facilities equipped with large scale of conveying belt to transfer raw materials, which has definitely increase production capacity. The new is located on 138 acres of industrial land in Amanjaya, Sg Petani, Kedah Darul Aman.

SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd had certified MDC Precast Industries Sdn Bhd to MS ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System in June 2002. Meantime, SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd and IKRAM QA Services Sdn Bhd had also certified box culvert and reinforced concrete piles manufactured by MDC Precast Industries Sdn Bhd to Malaysian Standard and JKR Standard.

The highlight of this visit is MDC’s latest Prestressed Square Pile casting technology, Ground Granulated Blast-furnace Slag (GGBS) and other precast concrete products.

Special Note

Kindly be informed that MDC practices safety first at all their factories. All visitors must adhere to all safety instructions given by the officers in charge and signage whilst in the compound. No slipper, sandals and high heels footwear are allowed. MDC shall not be held responsible to any unwanted incidents happened during the visit.

Participants have to arrange their own transport to the stated venue and IEM will not be liable to any loss or damage incurred.

• Closing Date: Registration should reach us latest by 20 April 2020 or when registration is full, whichever is earlier.
• Walk-in registration will only be accepted if vacant seat is available.
• Registered member participant shall attend the seminar himself/herself personally. In the event a representative has been sent to attend, the representative must be a member of the same grade, otherwise the difference in registration fee must be paid before admission is allowed.
• Attendance by representative will not be issued with the Certificate of Attendance.
• All participants are to present their NRIC card for verification upon signing for attendance.
• Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• If fail to attend the event, the fee paid will not be refunded.
