How to make a bank transfer
There are a number of ways you can make a bank transfer. To make bank transfer locally within Malaysia, you will need the recipient name, bank name and account number. This no bank codes needed to make the transfer.
You required to retain a copy of the bank transfer receipt (either in printed copy nor digital copy) to continue the event registration in this website.
A) Online bank transfers. Log in to your online account and select the option for making a payment. Follow the instructions on screen to enter the correct details. Some banks also offer smartphone apps that allow you to transfer money. Refer to your own Banking services for the Online Transfer Procedure.
- Instant Interbank Fund Transfer (IBFT) or Intstant Transfer, the recipient will receive the fund immediately. Banks are now offering free Instant Interbank Fund Transfer (IBFT) in line with Malaysia's central bank policy.
- Interbank GIRO (IBG) transfer, the recipient will receive the fund either within 2 working day or immediately depending on interbank transfer method & time
B) In-branch bank transfers. If you have the money in cash or cheque, you can pay it into the account of IEM to in-branch. Most of the bank in Malaysia now offering electronic self-service terminal.

InterBank GIRO Funds Transfer (IBG) via ATM
- ATM card into the ATM Machine.
- Choose preferred language and key in 6 digit PIN number.
- Choose ‘Interbank Transfer’.
- Choose ‘IBG Transfer’ and proceed by confirming the charges imposed.
- Select the Payment Type (CASA, Financing or Card Repayment).
- Enter the amount and press ‘Confirm’ button.
- Select the recipient’s bank by entering the bank code as displayed on the ATM screen.
- Enter Beneficiary Account Numbers and proceed.
- Select From Account to debit
- The ATM will prompt the Beneficiary Bank, Account Numbers, and amount to be transferred. Please check the information is correct before confirming the transactions.
- Cardholders will be informed that the IBG transaction is accepted.
- Snap photo or scan the receipt as proof-of-payment to continue upload for registration.
InterBank IBFT Funds Transfer (Instant) via ATM
- . Insert ATM card into the ATM Machine.
- Choose preferred language and key in 6 digit PIN number.
- Choose ‘Interbank Transfer’.
- Choose ‘Instant Transfer’ and proceed by confirming the charges imposed.
- Select the Payment Type (MEPS Account, Financing or Credit Card).
- Select the recipient’s bank by entering the bank code as displayed on the ATM screen.
- Select from Account to debit.
- Enter the amount and press ‘Confirm’ button.
- Enter Beneficiary Account Numbers and proceed.
- The ATM will prompt the Beneficiary Bank, Account Numbers, and amount to be transferred. Please check the information is correct before confirming the transactions.
- Cardholders will be informed that the IBG transaction is accepted.
- Snap photo or scan the receipt as proof-of-payment to continue upload for registration.
